Healthy Air Leicester and Leicestershire is supporting ‘Catch the Bus Week’. The campaign, which runs from Monday 28th April to Sunday 4th May, is organised by the sustainable travel group Greener Journeys and aims to promote the benefits of using the bus. We are working to raise awareness of the level of air pollution in the county and encourage people to choose more sustainable forms of transport so we are supporting 'Catch the Bus' week in the hope that it will persuade people to use public transport and leave their cars at home more often.
First Buses will be having a stall outside Visit Leicester on Gallowtree Gate on Friday 2nd May from 10am to 2pm, where they will be offering free day tickets to cars users who are interested in giving the bus a go. Arriva are offering a free day saver ticket to anyone who downloads their app.
